Wireless Keyboards and Linux

by bitznbitez

The Logitech K520 keyboard works flawlessly with my Linux Mint 14 Nadia system.  Just unplug wired keyboard and mouse and plugged in the little usb dongle and voila they keyboard and mouse synced immediately and have been stable ever since.

This was not the same with the Logitch K330 I tested earlier.  That keyboard installed just as easily but after a very short period linux began to have issues with long pauses before typing would resume again.  Sometimes linux would never sync up and require a reboot.  I am sure there was not a problem with the K330 but rather a linux driver issue.  The drivers are not supplied by Logitech.   Rather than try to resolve the linux issue I took the route of simply trying a different Logitech keyboard combo.
